NICHE IS HIRING an Office Administrator!

Are you a pro at organizing and coordinating?  Do you have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy? We are looking for an enthusiastic office administrator to join our team! This position will start at 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to increase hours, if desired. Hourly rate to be determined based on experience and skill set.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Communication with clients
  • Communication with manufacturers and suppliers for sample and pricing requests
  • Preparing specification documents and budget sheets using keynotes, pages, and/or numbers (on mac operating system)
  • Organizing customer transactions/ sales (preparing estimates, purchase orders, and invoices , as well as coordinating deliveries)
  • Organizing project files, including client and supplier contacts

Additional responsibilities (depending on skill set) could include:

  • Assisting with improvements to office organizational systems and procedures
  • Assisting with site measuring for new commercial and residential projects
  • Assisting with social media and other marketing endeavours

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with keynotes, pages, and numbers programs (Mac version of Microsoft powerpoint, word, excel)
  • Strong aptitude with numbers and must be able to create and manipulate charts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and desire to learn new skills

Additional Skills (which would be considered an asset):

  • Familiarity with Quickbooks
  • Understanding of design and renovation process
  • Familiarity with office furniture and/or office products
  • Familiarity with dropbox, google drive, toggle, wanderlust or other similar platforms
  • Social media experience
